Karachi, Nov. 2 : Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged the interior ministry to increase the security for Chinese workforce that is busy working on various projects in the country including the China Pakistan Economic Corridor ( CPEC).
According to the Dawn, Sharif directed the interior ministry to take all possible steps to ensure the safety of Chinese workers, adding that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard.
Sharif vowed to personally review the pace and progress of the projects.
He warned the officials and officers that those who failed to deliver in terms of timely completion will be chucked out of the team. (ANI)
