Karachi, Oct 19 : Pakistan’s former interior minister Rehman Malik has urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to inform US President Barack Obama during his visit about the alleged “nexus” between Indian and Afghan intelligence against Pakistan.
According to The Dawn, Malik also told Sharif to seek US’ help for the country as Pakistan had suffered a lot in the war on terror.
Malik said in a letter to Pakistan that the nexus between Indian Intelligence Agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Afghanistan’s Intelligence Agency, National Directorate of Security (NDS) was no secret and that it was responsible for creating instability and hostility in Balochistan and Fata.
He said that Afghanistan has not yet handed over the mastermind of Peshawar massacre, Mullah Fazalullah, to Pakistan despite the latter’s repeated requests. Fazalullah had publically accepted the responsibility for the attack on the Army Public School, Malik said.
Malik appealed to all Pakistani political parties to extend cooperation to Sharif during his three-day US visit. (ANI)
