Shariah workshop for ladies held

(Siasat News) Under the auspices of Tahreek Islah-e-Muashira Committee of All India Muslim Personal Law Board conducted a workshop on “Shariah” on 24 and 25th August at Pearl Regency Auditorium at Lakdikapul. Prof. Jameelunnisa addressed on the first day on the topic of (Introduction to Shariah). She said that Islaimc Shariah encompasses all the aspects of human life by following a woman could be successful daughter, mother, sister and wife. Ms. Roquiya Farzana spoke on the principles of Nikah and told that man and woman have the complete responsibility to lead a successful life. Ms. Subuhi Aziz, General Secretary of All Bengal Muslim Association and Member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board spoke on “Family dispute – causes and solutions”.

Ms. Shameem Fatima addressed on “Matrimonial conflicts” and told that the parents of the bride should refrain from interfering into the affairs of their daughters after their marriage. Prof. Rafeeq Unnisa addressed on “Divorce”. Dr. Asma Zehra, Member of Al India Muslim Personal Law Board express her views on “Issues relating to three divorces”. She said that divorce is not the solution to the problem. Allah (SWT) has given the right to divorce but He has also given right to take back his wife but many people are not aware of this right they should be taught this procedure as they teach system of Namaz. Maulana Mohammed Omer Bin Mahfooz Rahmani, Member of Muslim Personal Law Board (Patna) addressed on “The protection of women’s rights”. Ms. Humera Begum, Member of Muslim Girls’ Association recited Quranic verses. Dr. Zakiya Sultana presented the teachings of Quran. Dr. Asma Zehra welcomed the guest.
