Sharad Pawar engineered IPL-gate: Amar Singh

New Delhi, April 27: : Expelled Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh took on Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Monday.

He accused Pawar of masterminding the entire IPL controversy.
Singh, who has been lying low for quite sometime, returned to his blog page on Monday. Without mincing words, the Rajya Sabha MP wrote on his blog in Hindi that Pawar played out the entire scandal to divert public attention from pressing issues like “price rise, inflation, unemployment, farmer suicide and Telangana”.

He went on to say, “Modi has forgotten that his mentor Pawar was far smarter and shrewd than he could have imagined. Pawar was the one who showed the exit door to former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya.”

“He was the person who questioned Sonia Gandhi’s foreign origin, separated from Congress and now is back in power in a coalition with the same Congress,” he said.
