Telangana Government today appointed Shantha Kumari as Additional Principal Secretary in Telangana Chief Minister’s Office.
The State government issued orders appointing Shantha Kumari as Special Principal Secretary. The officials will associate with the CMO and will discharge duties as in-charge of Special Chasing Cell for industrial permissions. The appointment has been made at a crucial time when the TRS government was planning to come up with a new industrial policy.
It may be recalled here that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao himself reiterated time and again that he will retain the Chasing Cell to give permissions to all new industries, companies and business units in two weeks sans corruption. The new official will monitor at CMO level on the post industrial permission activities. She will have to discharge her duties with a vigilant eye for speedy disposal of services and take stringent measures against officials and staff if involved in corruption, it is learnt. (NSS)
