Shankar Rao predicts major political changes after Sept 10

Former Minister Dr P Shankar Rao on Wednesday claimed that major changes might occur in the State Government and Congress party after September 10th.

Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises, Dr Shankar Rao said that Union Ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad, Vylar Ravi and AK Antony would be visiting the State from September 10 and major changes could be expected after their visit. Criticising Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s style of functioning, he said that the Congress party has been losing its vote bank and grip among different communities due to his irresponsible behaviour.

Dr Shankar Rao said that the Congress party’s popularity among the people has been eroding and its popularity graph was at such a low which was not witnessed even during the Janata Party or NTR’s waves. He requested the tainted ministers to resign from the Cabinet to avoid putting the Congress High Command into a dilemma.
