The State Police said that former minister Dr P Shankar Rao is not cooperating in the incident of him being taken into custody for investigation of Greenfield lands scam.
CID Additional DG Krishna Prasad said that Dr Rao has not been cooperative in the investigation of the case. There was all round criticism on police about the way in which he was taken into custody and the Chief Minister had ordered a high level inquiry into the incident.
Though police went to Care Hospital twice to record his statement, he refused to talk to the police. His family members too were silent to the questions, he said. (INN)
