Former minister Dr P Shanker Rao has served a notice to senior IAS officer BP Acharya to reveal names of the conspirators, who had escaped in Emaar case and roaming scot-free.
Addressing the media at CLP office here on Saturday, Dr Shanker Rao said that Acharya, as a senior bureaucrat, should reveal the names of the real culprits in the Emaar case instead of facing falsely implicated case.
Demanding that the CBI arrest the real culprits in the Emaar Case, Dr Shanker Rao felt that the CBI has to investigate the case thoroughly. Stating that YSR government had appointed six advisors, he said one among them was responsible for all these irregularities. “Acharya should reveal that advisor’s name”, he added. He also said that the CBI should make the ministers and the government responsible for the Emaar scandal.
Dr Shanker Rao also released a copy of the notice, which was served on Acharya, to the media. (NSS)
