Jaipur, May 05: Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Warne has decided to call it a day with the end of the current Indian Premier League season, confirming he would not be a part of the team from the next edition.
Warne led Rajasthan Royals to the IPL title in its inaugural edition and has been one of the most successful captains of the billion-dollar T20 league since its inception. “I’ve had a good time but it is time to say goodbye to IPL”, he told reporters, confirming his exit after few games left in the current season.
However, he would be available as an advisor to the outfit in the next season, given his valuable guidance to the young squad.
