Hebron (Palestine): A video of Israeli soldier stealing Palestinian apples has been going viral on Social media.
The apples were stolen by an Israeli army commander from a Palestinian vendor in the West Bank city of Hebron.
This video has become a laughing subject on social media, and the Israeli army suspended the soldier and said in a statement that “The commander [who stole apples] was suspended and will be slapped with discipline punishment.”
Tensions erupted in Palestinian territories since the US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The decision has been condemned by the International community unanimously.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the announcement was made with the pre-agreement of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia went a step ahead and asked Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to accept a village ‘Abu Dis’ on the outskirts of Jerusalem as the alternative Palestinian Capital.
