(Siasat News) A Sham-e-Ghazal musical program was organized on 27th February at Maulana Azad National Urdu University under the patronage of Dr. Khwaja Mohammed Shahid, Pro Vice-Chancellor. Ms. Devi Ramana Murthy and Mr. Saber Habeeb presented the Ghazals of Mr. Ghalib. Ustad Mujtaba Ali Khan (Sitar), Mr. Mohammed Sardar (Tabla) and Mr. Mohammed Yaqub Ali (Harmonium) participated in the program. At the end of the musical program the artistes created a scene by singing together “Damadam Mast Qalandar”. Dr. Taqi Abedi (Canada) was the Chief Guest. Dr. Khwaja Mohammed Shahid felicitated the artistes and presented them bouquets. Dr. Mohammed Shujath Ali Rashed conducted the function. Dr. Aslam Parvez proposed vote of thanks. Present on this occasion were Prof. S.M. Rahmathullah, Registrar of Urdu University, Padmashree Mujtaba Hussain, Mr. Aziz, artist, Mr. Ali Nazim Jafferi, Ms. Naheed Jafferi, staff and students of Urdu University.
