According to Press Note issued by Controller of Examinations, OU, Ms. Shakera Begum was awarded Ph.D. in Urdu. She wrote a dissertation on “Concept of Life in the Poetry of Parveen Shaker”. She wrote this dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Baig Ehsas, former Head of the Dept. of Urdu.
