Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal elevated as DIG, Shahnawaz Qasim DCP east zone

The government has issued orders transferring 27 IPS officers of which 9 have been given promotions. As part of the midnight reshuffle, Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, SP, Intelligence, has been promoted to the grade of deputy IGP and posted as deputy Inspector General of Police, APSP Battalions in the existing vacancy while Shahnawaz Qasim, SP, Anantapur, is posted as DCP, East Zone, Hyderabad.

Those who got promotions include M Stephen Raveendra, Group Commander, Grey Hounds promoted as DIG in the Grey Hounds, M Stephen Raveendra, Group Commander, Grey Hounds, promoted as DIG in the Grey Hounds, TV Sashidhar Reddy, SP, CMSG, Intelligence, promoted as DIG, D Ramakrishnaiah, SP, CID, promoted as Deputy IGP and posted as additional director, ACB, Y Gangadhar, regional vigilance & enforcement officer, promoted to the grade of deputy IGP and posted as deputy Inspector General of Police, Nizamabad Range, M Kantha Rao, SP, Railways, Secunderabad, promoted to the grade of deputy IGP and posted as deputy IGP, Warangal Range, D Kalpana Nayak, SP, CID, who is on Inter Cadre Deputation from Tamil Nadu, posted as deputy IGP, Coastal Security, Hyderabad and VV Srinivasa Rao, posted as joint commissioner of police, CAR headquarters, Hyderabad.
