Mumbai, December 25: As many as 300 people were around Asin and were about to mob her when the chivalrous Shahrukh Khan came to her rescue.
It happened at a recent event in Mumbai. Asin was backstage and ready to go on stage when a huge mob surrounded her and a few fans got too close for her comfort. Some even tried touching the actress, who had no security with her, apart from her spokesperson.
Luckily for her, Shahrukh Khan was close by and spotted her. He, along with his bodyguards immediately pierced through the crowd and reached Asin before the actress could be mobbed. The bodyguards instantly formed a circle around Shahrukh and Asin and whisked them away from the maddening crowd.
Reports say Asin was a bit rattled by the incident but SRK calmed her nerves and chatted with her for sometime. He also advised her to keep a few security guards for all public functions.
