Shahrukh not selling his Knight Riders

Mumbai, May 01: Contrary to reports, Shahrukh Khan is not planning to sell his IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) which has performed shockingly poor in the ongoing tournament so far.

The passion that he puts in his work, SRK poured that in building up his IPL team, right from choosing the cheerleaders for KKR to the team’s extensive publicity campaign. But the team hasn’t performed up to the expectations of SRK and its many KKR fans.

After the team lost four matches out of six in South Africa, reports emerged that SRK, who often proclaimed self as the twelfth man in the team, had lost his faith in KKR and wants to sell a stake in the team.

However, the superstar on Thursday denied the reports and said there’s no price he could get for the emotional investment he has made in the team.

“The amount of love I have invested in it, nobody in this world can afford to buy it,” Shahrukh said after casting his vote in Mumbai on Thursday.

The talk of SRK selling KKR started after a report in a newspaper that claimed that the superstar was planning to sell a stake in KKR and was negotiating with Nokia, Sahara and the Anil Ambani Group to sell the side he had bought last year for Rs 300 crore.
