Mumbai, September 07: It was in 1999 when chocolate boy “Shahid Kapoor” was known as veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor’s son, and was seen as an extra in the song in Subhash Ghai’s “Taal”.
But now the actor has made his own mark in the industry and was recently in news for hiking his fee up to 15 crore rupees post “Kaminey”.
Shahid was recently approached by ‘Taal’ director Subhash Ghai to play the lead role in his new film, but the director didn’t know that he’s going to face some disrespect in this matter from him. The actor demanded for a cracking amount of Rs 15 crore.
With this Ghai was left speechless after Shahid made his statement and has been forced to look for some other face, much more affordable hero.
Subhash is said to be one of the most respectable directors of the industry and Shahid is just a mere actor when it comes to experience.
