Mumbai, January 20: After smooching Priyanka Chopra in Kaminey, then puckering up with Genelia D’souza in Chance Pe Dance, Shahid will now exchange chummas with his latest co-star Anushka Sharma for his untitled Yash Raj Film.
Sources confirm that these are not just kisses but full-on lip locks, which have already been shot during their Bangkok schedule.
The yet untitled film is a romantic drama directed by Parmeet Sethi. An on-location source reveals, “It was her first kiss on screen, so Anushka was extremely uncomfortable. Parmeet had a word with her and reassured her. He explained to her in detail how the scene would be shot and how it was important to the story. Once the camera was rolling, Anushka left her inhibitions behind and delivered a smashing scene.”
Later on, she was heard joking with Shahid. She teased him about how he would soon replace Emraan Hashmi as a serial kisser. When contacted Parmeet Sethi refused to comment saying he wasn’t allowed to talk. A Yashraj spokesperson revealed that they do not discuss the content of the movie pre-release and asked to adopt a wait-and-watch strategy.
