Shahid Afridi says “flag seedha karo”, wins hearts of Indians

St Moritz: Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi showed respect for National Flag of India and won hearts of many Indians.

According to the report published in Outlook, Shahid Afridi before taking Selfie along with his fans asked them to hold the flag properly. This respect for the National Flag of India won hearts of several fans.

It may be mentioned that he was among a host of former cricketers who took part in St. Moritz Cricket Tournament.

In the tournament, T20 matches were played on a frozen lake in St. Moritz, Switzerland on 8th and 9th February. Two teams that took part in the tournament are ‘Team Royals’ and ‘Badrutt’s Palace Diamonds’.

He autographed the posters, a Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf flag. Later, he walked along with his wife and youngest daughter. A Pakistani woman shouted “Lala aapse kabhi alag se mil sakti hoon?”.

While talking to newsmen, he said that his relationship with Virat Kohli will be affected by the political situation.
