Julukhana was one of the original entrances to the Chowmahalla Palace, but with passing day the domain of the Chowmahalla is gradually shrinking. Julukhana which was once the important part of historical Chowmahalla is in very precarious condition. Construction of Julukhana reflects Moghal architecture, but thanks to the negligence of Archeological Department its very existence is in peril. VIPs used to pass through the 22 ft Kaman, but the historical arch is deliberately ignored and this part of Lad Bazar is always engulfed with darkness.
