ISLAMABAD: ‘Shaheen’- an Air International flight made an emergency landing in Karachi, after the aircraft’s tyre burst off during take-off on Friday evening.
Shaheen Air International flight NL901 was scheduled to fly from Islamabad to Manchester, carrying around 150 passenger and crew. The aircraft ran a circuit pattern around Karachi’s Quaid-e-Azam International Airport before making an emergency landing after the emergency services and Air Traffic Control had cleared the runway.
Earlier in November, at least 10 passengers were injured as the tyre of a domestic Shaheen Air International flight burst during an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
