Shadi Mubarak scheme will be implemented on the lines of Kalyana Lakhsmi scheme across the state as the government made changes in norms accordingly. State Government today made some necessary changes of norms of Shadi Mubarak scheme offering financial assistance of Rs 51000 to poor Muslim girls in the state. According to information the Government made changes to the scheme replicating Kalyan Lakshmi scheme that will approve applications to get the benefit through local MLA. For this the concerned Mandal Revenue officers will scrutinize the applications for complying with norms. Then the MLAs of the constitutency will approve and offer cheques for the beneficiaries to their bank accounts. It may be said here that the government has introduced the marriage scheme to help the poor girls of SC, ST, BC and also to Muslim Minorities across the state. (NSS)
