Lashing out at IT Minister KT Ramarao, leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that the statement of KTR that he will bury the Congress party was best evident to his arrogance.
Speaking to the media at Assembly Media Hall here on Monday along with MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Shabbir Ali said that the people of the Telangana will bury the TRS party in future. KTR was speaking exceeding his level, he said and pointed out that KTR has to remember that Congress was the party given political birth to his father K Chandrasekhar Rao. He predicted that the people would chase TRS activists after January, 2018 onwards.
He congratulated AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi, who was going to assume the office of the AICC Chief in December, and said that the youth were waiting see Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister of the nation. Ponguleti said that Gandhi family was the family sacrificed for the sake of nation. The youth were seeing Rahul Gandhi as youth icon. Rahul Gandhi must become Prime Minister of the nation in 2019. In the agriculture markets in the state, the brokers’ hawa was going on in big way, he said and alleged that the state and central governments were failed in this regard. It was not possible to bury the Congress party by KTR, Ponguleti fumed. (NSS)
