Shabbir dares KCR to hold public meeting at OU Arts College

Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir strongly condemned the remarks of Chief Minister and TRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao on TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy as personal slander and demanded an apology.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan along with the TPCC Chief on Saturday, Shabbir Ali said that KCR is being popularly called “pheku” in Hyderabadi style of bluffing and his words and actions lacked credibility. “KCR Must know that TPCC chief was ex-serviceman who had served the country in various dignified positions. KCR is a big zero compared to Uttam Kumar Reddy and unlike KCR, Uttam family played a significant role in the freedom struggle of the country,” he said.

Shabbir Ali also said people of Telangana were aware that Telangana was given by the Congress party and it did not happen because of just two TRS MPs .The Congress party was instrumental in developing infrastructure of Hyderabad with Rs. 2 lakh crores funds. TRS is unjustified in claiming the projects of Congress as its own, he said.

He said that KCR announcement that Third Front would cause a tremor at Delhi was just a master bluff. He said if KCR has guts, he should organise a public meeting at OU Arts College campus. He also said even the Kaleshwaram Project was initially designed by Congress with project cost of Rs. 37,000 Cr. But the TRS had jacked it up to Rs. 87,000 Crores which showcases the rampant corruption of the KCR Government. KCR had also made a false statement at the plenary that 24 NRIs were participating. He did not speak a single word on NRI policy, he said. (INN)
