Due to non-release of budget by Finance Department, release of amount was stopped for financial assistance to the applicants of Shaadi Mubarak scheme. With the end of financial year 2014-15 on March 31 Shaadi Mubarak Scheme has been separated from Green channel as a result issue of amount of Shaadi Mubarak Scheme has been stopped.
Now Minority Welfare Department is waiting for release of current year budget by Finance Department. Until the budget is not released the amount could not be given to the sanctioned applicants of Shaadi Mubarak scheme. The amount has not been released to nearly 3000 applicants whose applications were approved due to non-release of budget.
