Sex racket busted in Ujjain, 5 people arrested

New Delhi: Police have busted a sex racket running in a hotel in a Madhya Pradesh town and arrested five persons, including two women and the hotel manager, a police officer said on Friday.

Additional SP-Amrindra Singh told the media, “The police after receiving a tip off that some illegal activities were running in a hotel at Madhav Nagar, raided it on Thursday evening. During the raid, police found four persons including two women in an objectionable position and arrested them, including the manager of the hotel.”

According to Singh, the arrested women are natives of Bhopal and Kolkata and a search is on to arrest their other accomplices.

“Initial investigation reveals that the tout and hotel manager kept a catalogue with photos of girls. They showed the pictures to people visiting the hotel. They used to earn a hefty sum for providing girls. To expose them red handed, police had sent a decoy costumer,” said Singh.
