Mumbai, May 08: Gorakhpuri plans to make a film based on the sex baba from Delhi, Shiv Murti Dwivedi alias Ichchadhari Sant Swami Bhimanand Ji Maharaj.
“In our country, there is no dearth of such babas whose seamy side continues to remain unknown to innocent followers,” said director Radheshyam Yadav, adding that the recently exposed sex babas from Delhi and Bangalore are only a small slice of the broad reality.
A still from Suhagan ki Kokh
“Titled Suhagan ki Kokh, the film intends to expose the misdeeds of such self-professed godmen.”
The Delhi sex baba, who is currently behind bars, had a steady stream of followers. He was allegedly running a sex racket until he was caught supplying college girls, air hostesses and models.
The baba in the film is revered as a sadhu by followers who are blissfully unaware that he operates a flourishing sex racket.
The film hopes to bring out the sordid side of those who deceive innocent followers by masquerading as godmen, said Yadav.
The baba’s role is played by Kamal Gorakhpuri, who is called ‘Show Show baba’ in the movie.

One of the characters in the film is a childless woman who visits the baba with the hope that she will bear a child with his ‘divine’ intervention. The woman does become pregnant after the godman compels her to have sex with him.
The naivet of the villagers leads them to believe that pregnancy is a ‘miracle’ by the baba’s blessing, which leads them to pin their faith in the godman even further.
