Severe heatwave conditions would continue to prevail in Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Adilabad in Telangana for the next 24 hours also. Heat wave conditions would prevail in the districts of Prakasam, East Godavari of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Khammam, Warangal, Nalgonda, Karimnagar,Nizamabad of Telangana during the same period. Isolated rain or thundershowers would occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Mainly dry weather may prevail over Telangana, the Met Office said here today.
The sky will be partly cloudy over Hyderabad and neighbourhood and rain or thundershowers may occur in parts of city towords evening or night over next two days.
The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 42 and 29 degrees Celsius respectively. Observations recorded till 0830 hours today indicated that the Heatwave conditions continued in the districts of Adilabad, Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar and Nalgonda of Telangana and in Guntur, Krishna and west Godavari districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The weather was mainly dry over Telangana and Rayalaseema. On Friday, the maximum temperatures rose at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh but appreciably fell at one two places over Rayalaseema and fell at one or two places over Telangana. They were appreciably above normal at many places over Telangana and at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and above normal at one or two places over Rayalaseema. The highest maximum temperature of 47 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad, Bapatla, Masulipatnam, Rentachintala, the bulletin said. UNI
