London: United States Defence Secretary Ashton Carter has said that several members of the US-led coalition airstrikes against the ISIS in Iraq and Syria do ‘nothing at all’ to help destroy the jihadists.
According to The Guardian, Carter’s comments marked a departure from the Pentagon’s typical portrayal of the 65-member coalition that has the slogan, “One mission, many nations,” and is frequently touted to highlight global resolve in the predominantly US effort to defeat the ISIS group.
Carter said that many of the countries are either not doing anything or whatever they were doing was not enough.
His comments came on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. (ANI)
