Several TDP, Congress and YSRCP leaders meet Sabita

Hyderabad, April 09 : Home minister Sabita Indra Reddy, whose name was included by the CBI in the charge-sheet in the disproportionate assets case of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, received support from unexpected quarters. Apart from Congress leaders, leaders or TDP and YSR Congress also met her on Tuesday and extended their support in her time of stress.
Ministers Jana Reddy, Vatti Vasanta Kumar, D K Aruna and MLA Nallamilli Sesha Reddy met her separately. DGP Dinesh Reddy was also closeted with her.

Strangely YSR Congress MLA Aalla Nani and TDP MLA Ratnam also met her and extended their support. TDP MLA meeting Sabita surprised every one as the party has been strongly demanding her resignation. However, Ratnam claimed to have met the home minister in connection with the tour of the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy scheduled for Wednesday.

It may be mentioned here that Sabita expressed her readiness to quit the cabinet as soon as the CBI included her name in the chargesheet. However, she had not, as the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and the PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana asked her to wait until the issue was discussed in the cabinet.
Meanwhile, Sesha Reddy said Sabita had not committed any irregularity. He argued that all the mining issues were being handled by the central government. He questioned CBI why it had not questioned Sabita so far if she committed any irregularity. He also argued that there was no need to resign, simply because her name was mentioned in the cabinet.

No need to resign say Aruna and Kanna Ministers Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and D K Aruna said there was no need for Sabita Indra Reddy to resign. They said if someone has to resign simply because he or she faced a charge, there would be need for many people to resign. Arguing that Sabita acted only as per business rules, they said they had advised her not to take any hasty decision as she had not committed any irregularity.
