A seven-year-old girl residing at Saraswatinagar in Tirupati was saved from a neighbour’s molestation bid on Sunday.
According to MR Palle Cl M. Subramanyam, Basha, a neighbour, called the girl to his home on the pretext of getting a match box. When the girl get there with the match box, he tried to molest her. The girl dumbfounded by his behavior and raised an alarm. Hearing the girl’s cries, parents as well as neighbours reached the house but Basha fled the spot.
The parents and the neighbours registered a complaint at the MR PaIli Police station. A case was registered under Section 376 F and 511,said Cl M. Subramanyam.
