At least seven suspected terrorists have been killed in the outskirts of the city by Pakistani security agencies, as they stepped up their drive against militants after the Peshawar school massacre.
The suspected militants were killed in two separate incidents since last night, a spokesman for the Paramilitary Rangers said.
“Four of them were killed in Janjal Goth while three were killed on the Northern Bypass when they opened fire on a Rangers patrolling party,” he said.
