Hyderabad: On a tip-off, Commissioner’s Taskforce personnel, along with Abids police, in the early hours, raided a common Gaming house situated at Flat No. 305, S.K. Apartments, Tilak Road and apprehended seven accused and seized cash of Rs 17,450, eight cell phones and 104 Playing cards from their possession.
The accused were identified as Syed Hassan, 28, house owner and organizer, M. A .Basith, 42, of Alijah Kotla, Moghalpura (punter), Abubakar, 42, Mobile shop owner of Noorkhan bazar, Dabeerpura (punter), Md Rahmatullah, 42, of Nayapool (punter), Shakeer Masood Saleh, 37, jobless of Chattabazar, (punter), Sardar Khan, 51, Flower merchant, Miralam Mandi (punter) and Md Ahmedullah Khan, 50, residing near Fire Station, Moghalpura.
According to police, all the accused gathered at the house in the intervening night and were playing three cards. However, on a tip-off, the Central Zone Task Force Team, along with Abids Police, raided the flat and nabbed the accused. The accused along with seized property were handed over to the SHO, Abids Police Station. (NSS)
