Seven feet wide house up for sale

London, March 16: It’s a house, it’s barely seven feet wide and is expected to fetch 95,000 pounds. The house, which is at the Mauldens Mill development in Framlingham, Suffolk, is one of the smallest houses in Britain and was originally part of a steam mill.

Described as a cosy, bijou home, the one-bedroom house is short walk away from the picturesque market town centre, the Daily Mail reported.

It has a kitchen, bedroom, shower room (with toilet) and sitting room.

“It’s a unique property, very different and I think it’s the smallest house we’ve ever dealt with,” Julie Williams, of estate agent Clarke and Simpson, was quoted as saying.

A home on Aldeburgh seafront with a bedroom measuring just 15 feet by seven feet was sold for 250,000 pounds in 2005.
