Hyderabad: In the ongoing drive against offenders under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits, the Commissioner of Police has ordered detention of seven notorious offenders of dacoity, robbery, house burglaries, automobile and cattle thefts, land grabbing and Immoral Traffic Offenders under Preventive Detention Act.
Though the offenders were arrested previously, they were habitually indulging house burglaries causing fear psychosis among the people. Unless they are kept out of the society for a considerable period by putting them in jail, law and order cannot be restored. With this view, Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand, IPS, invoked Preventive Detention orders against the habitual criminals, as a part of preservation of peace and maintaining public order in the Cyberabad.
Those detained are: Sherkhan alias Mohd. Sheru, 24, Auto driver of Fathimanagar, Votttepally under Mailardevpally mandal, Rajendernagar, RR District was involved in 21 cases of dacoity and house nulglaries. He committed theft of automobiles and cattle under the limits of Kothakota Police Station of Mahbubnagar district, Siddipet-I Town PS in Medak district; Moinabad, Mailardevpally, Medchal, Medipally, Pahadishareef, KPHB and Dundigal Police Stations of Cyberabad Commissionerate and Saidabad PS of Hyderabad city. Syed Wahab, 30, of Rodamistrynagar-A, Gajularamaram, Ranga Reddy district. He was involved in 16 cases of murder, attempt to murder, robbery, Snatching, HBs by Night and Thefts in the limits of Jeedimetla Police Station of Cyberabad Commissionerate)
HOUSE BURGLARS: Mohd. Mukheem, 20, Welding work of BadiHoti village, ZaheerabadMandal, Medak district. He is involved in 12 cases of House Bulglaries, and thefts in the limits of Madhapur, Miyapur and Chandanagar Police Stations of Cyberabad Commissionerate.
Dhomata Ram Prasad @ Ramu , 37 , Rice Business of Papi Reddy Colony, Chanda Nagar, R.R.District, Vinayaka Nagar, Bora Banda, Hyderabad. He is involved in 19 cases of House Burglaries and House thefts in the limits of Balanagar, Sanathnagar, Chandanagar, Jagadgirigutta Police Stations of Cyberabad Commissionerate
LAND GRABBERS: Cheemakurthi Balasubramanyam 55 , Business in Mayuri Apartments, Begumpet, Hyderabad. He is a Rowdy sheeter of Malkajgiri PS. He is involved in 5 cases of Murder, Cheating, forgery of land documents, Criminal trespass and criminal intimidation in the limits of Malkajgiri and Chaitanyapuri Police stations of Cyberabad Commissionerate and Maredpally PS of Hyderabad city and Shankerpally PS of RR District)
Mohd. Abdul Parwez @ Shaik Mohd. Abdul, 29, Business in Near Sai Function Hall, Ibrahimpatnam Village & Mandal, R.R. District. He is involved in 7 cases of Cheating, Impersonation, forging the land documents, criminal trespass, criminal intimidation, mischief in the limits of Ibrahimpatan and Meerpet Police Stations of Cyberabad Commissionerate)
