Seven dead, 13 missing after landslide, flood in Nepal

Kathmandu, July 27: At least seven people have been killed and 13 others are missing after incessant rains caused landslide and floods in Nepal, police said today. The bodies of five persons who were earlier swept away by Kamala River, was recovered this morning from its banks in southern Nepal”s Dhanusha district.

Meanwhile, in an another incident, two persons were killed in landslide at Khar village in Darchula district in western Nepal. In Snakhuwasabha district of east Nepal, at least 13 people went missing after a landslide at Tamku last night.

In a separate incident, four pilgrims were injured when three buses in which they were travelling were swept away by Khahare Khola at Chatura-Dharan road in Sunsari district in eastern Nepal.
