Telangana Settlers Forum convener Katragadda Prasuna has opined that enforcement of Section-8 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act on Hyderabad was unwarranted under the present peaceful atmosphere in the State.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, the former MLA Prasuna said the value of Hyderabad has increased after the creation of Telangana State. She alleged that the Andhra Pradesh rulers were deliberately provoking the sentiments in the name of settlers in Hyderabad for their selfish ends.
Condemning the demand of AP Labor Minister K Atchannaidu that Hyderabad be converted into a Union Territory, Prasuna demanded that the Telangana State government set up a ‘Complaint Cell’ in the Telangana Secretariat for the sake of settlers in Hyderabad. (NSS)
