Reigning Asian Games champion and former world championship semi-finalist Joseph G Abraham suffered a serious jolt to his London Olympics berth in the 400metres hurdles, here today. However, Jharkhand’s Deepmala Devi and Rajasthan’s Manju Bala cornered glory by reigning supreme in their respective categories on the third day of the 52nd National inter-State Senior Athletics Championship at GMC Balayogi Stadium here. Deepmala Devi claimed her fifth title in the women’s 20 km walk while Manju won her second successive gold in women hammer throw.
