London : Arsenal have suffered with a major blow as goalkeeper Petr Cech has been ruled out for four weeks due to a calf injury.
The 33-year-old suffered with the injury during his side’s 1-2 defeat against Swansea City in the Premier League clash at Emirates Stadium.
Reflecting on the news, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed that Cech was suffering from a groin problem before the game, which later turned into the calf injury.
According to the Mirror, David Ospina is likely to replace Cech in the squad and Wenger admitted he has full confidence on the Colombian.
Arsenal are currently third in the league table and are three points adrift of surprise leaders Leicester City. They will next lock horns with Tottenham on Saturday. (ANI)
