Ahmedabad, May 27: Social activist Teesta Setalvad, an accused in the 2006 Pandarwada case in which bodies of post-Godhra riot victims were exhumed four years after they were buried by district administration, is not cooperating in the probe, the state government told the Gujarat high court.
Setalvad had approached the high court for quashing of the FIR against her in the case. Justice GB Shah, hearing the case, has reserved the order on Setalvad’s petition for May 27.
Opposing Setalvad’s plea, government pleader PK Jani contended that investigation was still on in the case with regard to Setalvad, who was not cooperating with the investigating agencies.
