All set for Global Investors Summit-2016 at Indore

Indore, October 21 (Pervez Bari): Stage is all set for the two-day Global Investor Summit, (GIS), beginning here at Indore, the financial capital of central India state Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday at Brilliant Convention Centre.

Five countries Japan, South Korea, U.A.E., Singapore and United Kingdom are participating as partner countries in the summit. Beside this, around 40 foreign delegations mainly from Italy, Belgium, China, America, Australia, Hong Kong, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Poland, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hungary are participating in the summit.

The inaugural session will take place on October 22 at 10.00 a.m. wherein Federal Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley and Federal Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ravishankar Prasad will attend as chief guests. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also present during the summit.
Ambassadors of Partner Countries, CEOs of Industrial Groups and Representatives from abroad will present in the inaugural session. After the inaugural session, sessions on different subjects will take place from 2.00 to 5.30 p.m. In these sessions, the special speakers will provide information on scope of investment, investment policy and special features of Madhya Pradesh to the Industrialists and Ambassadors of Foreign countries. On the first day, sessions of U.A.E. and Japan will be held. Beside this deliberations will be held on scope of investment in Textile, ESDM, Tourism, Automobile Engineering, Agri-Business and Food Processing and Pharmaceuticals sectors. Cultural evening has been organized at the Nakshatra garden of Brilliant Convention Centre at 7.00 p.m.

Second Day of Summit

On October 23, the second day of Summit, different session will be held from 10.00 a.m. to 11.15 p.m. Beside session of the partner country South Korea, subject experts will apprise investors in the session focusing Make in India, New and Renewable Energy, Scope of export in Madhya Pradesh and Urban Development.

Concluding session will be held on October 23, the second day of summit from 11.30 a.m. Federal Minister for External Affairs Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Federal Minister for Urban Development Venkaiah Naidu and Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan will present as chief guests in the session.

CEOs Conclave

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Minister for Industry Rajendra Shukla inaugurated exhibition in the evening in summit. The exhibition is being organized in 5600 square meter area. Products have been displayed by 80 companies in the exhibition. Moreover, a pavilion focusing development in Madhya Pradesh has been set up separately.

Shukla while welcoming the representatives of Industrial and business houses of India and abroad participating in the Global Investors Summit expressed gratitude from the bottom of his heart towards them. Shukla assured the Industrialists that Madhya Pradesh the Heart of India has conducive atmosphere for investment.

Minister Shukla said that keeping in view the continuous increase in the growth rate intensify the possibilities of investment in the state. Not only all the necessary action to set up industry on the basis of single table concept is being initiated but a separate department has been formed to promote establishment of small and village industries. Around 6 lakh crore investment miracle during the Global Investors Summit -2014 has strengthened positive scope of investment in Madhya Pradesh. As per the intent of the Chief Minister Chouhan this investment initiative in the summit will not only provide better employment opportunities to youths but will provide a new platform to youths to display their skills.
