Apparently elated with the big success of the public meeting and TRS Plenary, the TRS leadership is now planning to prepare its cadre to have thorough knowledge on Government functioning and party structure, in May first week. Keeping in view the GHMC elections in December as per court directive, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is now planning to take up a brainstorming session for about three days. Former Chief Election Commissioners TN Seshan and JM Lingdoh are expected to address the three-day training camp for the TRS MLAs, MLCs and MPs at Nagarjuna Sagar.
Minister for Power, G Jagadish Reddy told a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, that there is a need for giving training to the new leaders. They must be aware of the smooth governance, functioning of officials, coordination with elected representatives and party structure, he stated. ‘We are expecting that the former CECs Seshan and Lingdoh will address on smooth and fair governance’, he said. He also said that Zilla Parishad Chairmen, District party presidents, DCCB Chairmen and in charges of constituencies will also participate in the training camp to be addressed by the chief minister. The meeting will begin on May 2 and conclude on May 4, he added. (NSS)
