In order to overcome the staff shortage in Minority Welfare Department, the government has allotted the services of 22 deputy collectors to Minority Welfare Department. This is the first time that the government has allotted a large number of officials belonging to revenue department to Minority Welfare Department.
It is said that out of the 22 deputy collectors who were promoted from the posts of mandal revenue officers, 12 have reported to Minority Welfare Department while the remaining 10 will join the department shortly. These officers will be deputed on the post of District Minority Welfare Officer.
