Service to orphans is a pious worship

Hyderabad Leprosy Control & Health Society organized an awareness programme for poor and destitute orphan children suffering from HIV Aids. A large number of children attended the meeting. Secretary of the Society Dr. Mohammed Ayub Hyderi presided over the programme. Social worker Mr. Abdul Hameed distributed certificates, sewing machines and food packets to ladies. Dr. Mohammed Ilyas Hyderi, Coordinator of the programme presented the report and said that the society has been helping poor children for the past 28 years.

This programme was held in Falaknuma in which people from Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda and Charminar participated. He said that the society is taking care of 116 HIV Aids patients. It is providing food, education, counseling and other matters. Mr. Abdul Hameed said that getting education is obligatory. If one gets education he can also take care of is health. Dr. Mohammed Ayub Hyderi, Secretary of the society said that offering service to orphan children is a pious worship. It is the duty of the Muslims to help such childrens. Mr. Srinivas Reddy project Manager, Mr. Abdul Ghani Khan, Mr. Mohammed Nazeer, Ms. Mumtaz Begum and other social activists were present in the meeting. Mr. Jasrath Rao proposed vote of thanks.
