Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today exhorted the newly appointed 462 veterinary assistants recruited by TSPSC to serve their best and win the hearts of the farmers across the state. Addressing a program after giving away appointment orders to them at Secretariat here, the minister said that the new appointees are lucky to get government jobs due to support from parents and their own efforts. Unlike, in the past the state government has taken up appointments in a big way he noted. They got a rare chance to serve the animals for which the government has put in place mobile vans to offer emergency services at assorted places.

The Government offers priority to farmers, poor and community professions and offering priority to serve cattle with complete healthcare services. Also the government will be start in seven days another significant program to distribute buffalos on subsidy with an estimated cost of Rs 890 cr he remarked.
The State government has allotted Rs 20 cr to strengthen veterinary hospitals with all facilities he said. Srinivas Yadav asked the veterinary staff to do their best and ensure health of the cattle in all villages, towns and districts.
