The bomb attacks were carried out in the provinces of Baghdad, Kirkuk, Salahuddin and Diyala on Thursday morning.
An Iraqi Interior Ministry official said 17 people were killed in and around the capital Baghdad.
Nine people were killed in bombings carried out in the northern province of Kirkuk, police officers said.
In addition to Baghdad and Kirkuk, three people were also killed in bombings in the city of Samarra in Salahuddin province.
An Iraqi military official also said a police officer was killed in a bomb attack in the provincial capital city of Baqouba in Diyala.
The Thursday bombings in Iraq were carried out a few weeks after Iraqi officials announced that at least 50 people were killed and scores of others injured in bombings and shootings conducted in several cities, including Baghdad, on March 20
