Mumbai, May 31: If you can imagine the Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi only as a ‘serial kisser’, then here is a turnover in his role; where, he’ll be portrayed as an action hero now. Emraan will be acting in the upcoming movie, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, by Milan Luthria and will be seen doing abundance of action in it!
The actor recently escaped a grave accident in Melbourne, while he was on shoot for Mohit Suri’s Crook. It was a stunt scene, in which, Hashmi had to drive down an expressway, following a rig vehicle that had the camera escalated on a crane arm.
But during the shoot, out of the blue, the camera got detached and fell off the crane. Driving with a speed of 100 kmph, and just about 10 feet behind the rig vehicle, the actor could not manage to veer off or brake right away.
Driving over the camera then, his car did not depart off the freeway, but went a couple of feet off the road. Recalling all this, the actor said, “I was fortunate that my car didn’t veer off the freeway. I shudder to think of what would have happened in that case. But yes, at that moment, my heart did miss many a beat”.
But, Hashmi was thankful to all his crew members to save him from the fatal accident, and confirmed to be more careful further, while performing such stunts and action. After all, the ‘serial kisser’ has to now be more precautionary, when it comes to action.
