Panaji: Organisers of Serendipity Arts Festival which is currently underway here, have claimed that they have been receiving encouraging response for the first edition of this unique festival which is held across several venues along River Mandovi.
“We have received a very encouraging response to the Festival so far. It has been extremely well received by the creative community, the government and most importantly the locals of Goa,” Preeta Singh, Festival Director told PTI.
The festival began on December 16 across eight different venues in Panaji and will culminate on December 23.
“We have seen high levels of engagement and rich conversations at the Festival. People who have attended the Festival so far have been amazed by the diverse offerings, the quality of art on display and the rich experiences they are taking back. People are spending time at the eight venues and asking questions and that’s what we aimed at,” Singh said.
Serendipity Arts Festival – India’s premier, curated, interdisciplinary arts festival that aims to mainstream arts in the country, gave audiences an electrifying line-up of enthralling exhibitions, display of craft work, captivating music and dance performances, thought provoking conclaves and exciting workshops.
“With an aim to conventionalise arts in the country, the festival provided a perfect blend of theatre, music, craft, visual arts and culinary arts alongside an opportunity to engage in conversations with industry stalwarts and leading art connoisseurs,” the organisers said in a press release here.
Unfolding across multiple locations in Goa, the cultural melting pot of India, the first three days of the multi-disciplinary festival, offered varied activities for art lovers and enthusiasts to indulge in.
