Kashmir, September 20: There is no immediate end to ongoing unrest in the valley as the separatists are not ready to bend and stick to their demand for autonomy.
A group of all party delegation met Hurriyat hawk Syed Shah Geelani and emphasised on to start the dialogue process.
But the meeting was not fruitful as the Geelani was not ready for less than autonomy, removal of AFPSA and acknowledgement of disputed nature of the valley.
The all party delegation headed by Home minister P Chidambram arrived in Srinagar on Monday morning amid curfew and separatist boycott.

Chidambaram promised the people of the state that their future, honour and dignity are secure as part of India.
The signed joint memorandum to the delegation started by stating: ‘In unequivocal condemnation of the killings of our children and youth, we choose not to meet with your delegation.’
The memorandum then listed out the conditions for a dialogue process to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
The five member delegation, including Sita Ram Yechuri, Nama Nageshwar Rao, Asadudin Owasi, Dr Rao, and Akali Dal’s Dr, Ratnala went to see Syed Ali Shah Geelani at his residence in Hyderpora Srinagar.

Yechuri repeatedly tried to convince Geelani for dialogue that “let peace be given a chance”. Geelani interrupting Yechuri said that peace can only prevail in Kashmir if forces stop violation of human rights. He before leaving the room said to the delegation that Kashmiris want ‘Azaadi’ and nothing less than that.
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti and party patron Mufti Mohmmad Syeed stayed away and said they have sent their delegation which was headed by party leader Dilawar Mir.
