Separatists’ politics survives on bloodshed: Omar

Srinagar, May 11: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today accused separatists of encouraging violence in Jammu and Kashmir and alleged that their politics was surviving on bloodshed.

“Certain politicians and their politics survive on bloodshed, disturbance and miseries of people. They want to put the society in economic distress and make people jobless to satisfy their mindset,” Omar told a public gathering at Khalifapora in old city here.

The CM said separatist leadership is putting poor people before bullets to play politics of vested interests.

Accusing separatists of encouraging violence, he said when 20 years of violence could not transfer even an inch of land from one side to another, how can stone-hurling change the political situation.
