Claiming that desire for separate Andhra State was strong among the people in the Seemandhra region, BJP president G Kishan Reddy has said that they would mould the sentiment in Andhra as a publicity tool and field party candidates in the ensuing by-elections to 18 Assembly seats in that region.
Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, Kishan Reddy said that they would popularize the “separate State” slogan in both the Telangana and Seemandhra regions in the State.
The State BJP chief said that the people would take responsibility of refuting the Gobles campaigning of the Congress and TDP that Telangana agitation was diminishing, in the ensuing by-elections.
He also pointed out that BJYM was launching “Telangana Bharosa Yatra” (Telangana Assurance Tour) from April 16 in order to wean the youth and students from resorting to suicides for separate Telangana. (NSS)
